About
My name is Zoe, and I am the owner and proprietor of Cozycatz.
Cozycatz Cattery is set within the grounds of my own family
home, a three acre small holding in East Farndon that we share
with our own cats, dogs and horses. Animals have always been a
very important part of my life, and as a child I was always content if I had a pet to look after.
My first job as a teenager was helping out in the lambing season
at a local farm, and later on working as a groom on a livery yard
with horses.
In 1989 I trained in London to be a Canine and Feline groomer
and qualified with distinction. I then enjoyed many years
working alongside mysister in 'Animal Crackers' our own
grooming salon where we catered for all breeds of cats and dogs.
In 1999 I gave up grooming to be a full time Mum to my
daughter and twin boys.
Cozycatz was set up in 2012 when I found myself with time on
my hands again as my children were becoming more independent.
I have a lifetimes experience of handling animals, and I provide a caring 'home from home' experience for your cat here at Cozycatz. With a maximum occupancy of only 8 boarding guests, it means that my duties are not rushed and I can give your cat plenty of affection and attention during its stay.
As a pet owner, I completely understand all the worries connected to leaving pets in someone else’s care, so I am more than happy to inform owners of their cats progress via texts/emails/WhatsApp or Facebook to help ease any concerns.
Since opening Cozycatz, I’ve had the most wonderful time welcoming hundreds of cats through my door of all shapes and sizes, colours and personalities. It’s always a pleasure greeting new clients, and I particularly enjoy welcoming back all my regular faithful customers.
